Day 1: Saturday – Arrival To Dubrovnik
A Dubrovnik Adventures Tour leader will meet you at Dubrovnik airport, bus station, port or your hotel and take you to a villa in Zaton Bay, located by the sea. After a map review and introducing with a detailed itinerary, a welcome dinner will take place in a family owned restaurant where you will taste local specialties.

Day 2: Sunday – Cycling Dubrovnik Countryside
We will cycle on quite, easy and scenic paved roads through vineyards, olive groves and ancient villages. We will stop by a Franciscan monastery from 15th century and at the old mills by the river Ljuta where will get to know how the locals were milling in the medieval times. End our biking tour at a 300-year old winery where we will have wine tasting and light lunch (welcome drink, local traditional sweets, prosciutto, cheese, bread, olive oil).
After an unforgettable day of riding, our guide will take you back to your accommodation.

Day 3: Monday – Cycling Mljet Island National Park
Today we will explore Mljet Island National Park. We will make a few stops at the famous Small and Great lakes for swimming. A small tiny island St. Maria which is located in the middle of the Great lake will be our last swimming spot before coming back to the small picturesque village for the delicious lunch. Late afternoon we will come back to Dubrovnik.

Day 4: Tuesday – Cycling Konavle Region
After breakfast, our cycling route will take us throught Konavle region. A delicious local lunch will be placed in a small family owned restaurant on the river. Later our guides will take us to the beach Pasjaca, one of the most captivating and photographed beaches in Dubrovnik. We will relax and have time for swimming and snorkelling.

Day 5: Wednesday – Cycling Bosnia And Herzegovina
Popovo Polje (meaning priest’s field) is one of the largest field in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world, famous for its karstic phenomenons and features, and particularly for its the Trebišnjica River, which flows through the polje as largest sinking river the world. Our cycling tour will start in a small village which had an important role in the 20th century as the main railroad station in the region. We will cycle on the paved, quite, easy, flat and scenic road throught Popovo Polje and its ancient stone villages. We will stop by the Vjetrenica cave which is located on the western edge of Popovo polje in the village Zavala. The cave has so many galleries and corridors, lakes, waterfalls and numerous stalactities and stalagmites. Vjetrenica is also one of the richest caves in the term of subterranean biodiversity. The amphibious cave salamander Proteus anguinus more commonly known as “Čovječja ribica” or the “human fish” is the most well known of the rare endemic species which can be found in the Vjetrenica cave.

Day 6: Thursday – Free Day – Dubrovnik Sightseeing
This morning we will explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the pearl of the Adriatic, and one of the worlds most beautiful preserved medieval towns. We have various options for a day in Dubrovnik. For a break from cycling, relax at the beach, walk in the old town, take a cable ride to the top of the Srd Hill above Dubrovnik or go kayaking to Kolocep island to explore the gorgeous cliffs and caves.

Day 7: Friday – Cycling Peljesac Peninsula
Peljesac was inhabited since ancient times by Illyrians and Greeks, later by Romans and since the 7th century by Slavs. Peljesac has an ancient maritime. It is also well known since ancient times for the fine vineyards, and the excellent sorts of wine, “Dingac” and “Postup”, are famous all over the world.
Our cycling route will take us to the little town Ston which boasts the oldest salt works in the Mediterranean and the world’s second-longest defensive wall (after the Great Wall of China), more than three miles of which remain standing. The bay hosts a vital mussel and oyster industry, and we may be able to sample them along with other fresh seafood at lunch. There’s free time to explore town this afternoon before going back to Dubrovnik for a farewell dinner.
